Good to know

Fox at Bluff Creek was designed for the kind of Smoky Mountain trip where you and your loved one actually slow down for a minute. ↟ Tucked into the trees on a peaceful wooded lot, the cabin feels private, quiet, and secluded, while still being just minutes from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, hiking trails, restaurants, and the National Park. It's the kind of location that lets you do as much or as little as you want: a full day exploring, or absolutely nothing at all. Guests tell us that balance is exactly what they came for. Mornings here tend to start slowly: ➟ Coffee on the deck. ➟ Fresh mountain air. ➟ The sounds of the seasonal creek nearby and wildlife wandering through the trees while you settle into the Serena & Lily swing chair and realize the hardest part of the day might just be convincing yourself to leave the deck. After a day exploring the Smokies, come back to your own cozy cabin retreat and sink into the hot tub under the stars. Many guests tell us they end up spending more time at the cabin than they originally planned because it feels so relaxing, tranquil, and easy to settle into. 800 Sq Ft True Log Cabin | 2 Levels Open Loft | Full Size Washer/Dryer | ¾ acre private land | Private Hot Tub, Charcoal Grill & Creekside Outdoor Fire Pit with Adirondack chairs | Whole Property High Speed Wifi ✴ INSIDE THE CABIN ✴ Fox is the kind of place that makes you exhale the moment you walk in. Two levels of authentic log cabin warmth meet a cozy boho-inspired style (earthy tones, soft textures, warm light filtering through the trees )and guests consistently describe arriving here as feeling like coming home. >>>A living room made for slowing down<<< Some of your best memories here might be the ones you didn't plan: curling up together under a blanket with a movie on the 65" 4K Smart TV and Sonos soundbar, pulling out a game on a rainy afternoon, or sinking into the couch with nowhere to be after a long day on the trails. The fireplace (converted to safe, beautiful electric) flickers in the background, and the treehouse-like views make it easy to forget the outside world exists. Guests call this space "peaceful," "welcoming," and (probably the highest compliment) "hard to leave." >>>A kitchen you'll actually want to cook in<<< Mornings here have a different pace. The eat-in kitchen seats four and blends retro charm with everything you actually need: full appliances, an air fryer, all the coffee and cooking gear to make breakfast unhurried and dinner-at-home feel like a treat rather than a compromise. >>>The loft: where you'll sleep like you mean it<<< Upstairs, the open loft overlooks the trees and delivers that classic cabin in the mountains feeling guests come back for. The queen gel-foam bed is dressed in luxury bamboo-blend linens (soft enough that more than a few guests have mentioned the sheets specifically) and thoughtful touches like bedside reading lamps and USB charging stations make it easy to stay up a little late and sleep in a little late. Longer, slower mornings are kind of the point. >>>The practical stuff (that guests are glad for)<<< The cabin has full central HVAC with forced air heat and A/C, so you're comfortable in any season. An oversized ceiling fan keeps the great room breezy on warmer nights. Tucked downstairs off the kitchen is a full-size bathroom with a shower/tub combo, and a large pantry that houses a full-size washer and dryer (complete with eco-friendly detergent sheets) for guests who like to pack light or stay a little longer. Guests often tell us Fox feels like someone actually thought of everything, and the little extras are a big part of that: exercise bands for a morning stretch, mosquito netting for anyone sensitive to bugs when relaxing outside by the creek (the mountains are pretty peaceful on that front, but it's there just in case). ✴ OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR ✴ The outdoor spaces at Fox are where a lot of the magic happens, and guests tend to be surprised by how much time they spend out here. The covered deck is where you’ll find the private hot tub (perfect for a soak after an adventurous day exploring the Smokies) as well as the comfortable Serena & Lily hanging swing chair (room for two!). Guests tell us it has a way of turning a "just a few minutes" moment into an entire morning. The creekside fire pit with Adirondack seating tends to have the same effect: more than a few couples have told us that sitting by the fire, listening to the creek in the background, felt like being inside a sound machine. The charcoal grill is nearby, so an easy dinner outside while the fire gets going is a natural move. ✹Need to Bring a Little Work Along?✹ Fair warning: the peaceful surroundings make productivity genuinely difficult. But if you need it, the cabin and entire property, has fast, reliable WiFi inside and out along with a comfortable dedicated workspace ready for you. Other Details to Note

Fox at Bluff Creek is located on our private paved mountain road surrounded by peaceful wooded surroundings. The entry is slightly steep (very common in the Smokies), but easily accessible for most standard vehicles and marked with reflective poles to make arrival simple, even after dark. One of the things guests love most about staying here is the feeling of being secluded and surrounded by nature while still only being a short drive from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, hiking, restaurants, and the National Park. Because you’re in the Smoky Mountains, you may spot local wildlife during your stay including black bears, raccoons, wild turkeys, and other mountain critters. Seeing wildlife is part of the magic of the mountains, but for everyone’s safety, please do not feed or approach them.

Accessibility and Availability

Neighborhood

We're in the Bluff Mountain Acres area of Pigeon Forge (part of Sevier County). Pigeon Forge, Tennessee was founded in the late 1700s and officially settled in 1830 when Isaac Love established an iron forge here. That iron forge helped to establish the name for the town now known as Pigeon Forge. Love’s son, William, also built a tub mill ten years later. That mill is now a National Historic Site called the Old Mill. Pigeon Forge, TN remained a small community until the Great Smoky Mountains National Park was established on September 2, 1940 by Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The largest growth of the area came in 1982 when tourism began to really take hold and continued to make Pigeon Forge Tennessee the popular destination it is now. The scenic Great Smoky Mountains, friendly people, down home hospitality and dining, patriotism, and a nostalgic air of yesteryear’s simpler times and family values truly make Pigeon Forge, TN the “All American Get-Away” for over 60 percent of the U.S. population within a day’s drive.

Guest Access

You’ll have full private access to the entire cabin and property during your stay, giving you that peaceful, tucked-away feeling guests love so much. The only inaccessible area is the crawlspace underneath the cabin… which, honestly, is much less cozy than the rest of the property anyway.

Den and I enjoyed our weekend getaway at Whitney’s cute cabin. There is lots to do in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It was a busy weekend in Pigeon Forge (huge car show), and it was nice staying away from the crowds and noise. Whitney and Anthony went above and beyond to be helpful.

One of the coziest, comfortable, clean and beautiful Airbnb we stayed at ! 🌸 The cabin was set up at a private peaceful location amidst nature yet easy to locate, safe and minutes away from all the happening spots in the Smokies. All amenities and decor are very well thought of, with a sense of going the extra mile for guests by including games, hot tub, a very cute swing, dinnerware, washer dryer and ample parking space (we had two cars) The bathrooms were clean and had more than enough supplies required. The cabin was well stocked with necessities and any emergency equipment that might be needed. Whitney (host) was amazing at keeping us updated/informed about check in, check out, local recommendations and with any questions that came up. The cabin in itself is a great place to relax and detox for a vacation. Highly recommend !!!!! 🏡

Thank you Whitney for letting us stay at your beautiful home away from home. We had a blast there. Her home was very nice and very clean. She stayed on top of things for us.

The Fox cabin was absolutely wonderful. Looked just like all of the pictures and the house had everything we needed and more. We went in the beginning of February and even though you could see neighbors because trees were bare, it still felt fairly private. We also were able to spend a good amount of time outside even with it being cold because of the hot tub and fire pit, both of which were exactly as pictured. There is a babbling brook next to the fire pit and listening to it while sitting by the fire felt like we were inside of a sound machine. Very peaceful. Bed and all other furniture was very comfortable and the cabin was spotless. We had no trouble at all finding the place but would definitely recommend arriving in the day as the roads are winding and the turn onto the drive could be easy to miss in the dark. But arriving during the day and having pre-read directions, we had no problem. Whitney was very responsive, flexible and nice to work with. Thank you Whitney!
